Where your clips go, and how to tell whether they worked

Which account posts, how often, what changes between platforms, and which numbers are worth reading. Views are the least useful one you have.

Short answer

Post from the account a viewer would want to follow next, which for most founder-led shows is the host's personal account, at the highest frequency you can hold without the quality dropping. The same clip can go on every platform as long as each upload is native and carries no rival app's watermark; what changes per platform is the caption copy, the cover frame and the safe zones, not the clip. Judge the result on three-second retention, average watch percentage, shares, saves and follower conversion. Views are an output, and on 24 August 2026 YouTube changed what one even counts as.

One strong account beats three that repeat each other, and most shows learn that the expensive way after a year of posting every clip in three places. Distribution is the point where clipping quietly stops being an editing problem and becomes an ownership problem: who posts, on which day, and who is at fault when Thursday's slot is empty. The reporting is where that shows up. A single view total across five platforms is the easiest number for an agency to send and it hides the format that worked, the platform that did nothing and the one clip that carried the month, which is why VALORAE Arc sends one row per clip with each platform's own count beside it. Read the rows, not the total.
